The Deep Sea Clean Water Sun. Cheonggukjang is used with agrichemicals-free soybeans only grown under contract, and is "scentless Cheonggukjang" that can feel taste of fresh soybeans as it was ripened after steaming the soybeans by deep ocean water and salt whose natural minerals are plenty.

The soybean which is a primary raw material of Cheonggukjang and affects a taste at the same time has a difference in its taste and quality depending on good quality soil. We use only the 100% pure new soybeans (=the year's new crop of soybeans) grown under direct contract with Baebawoo Clean Town, Ahnnam-Myeon, Oakcheon-Gun situated at the water quality reservation, Daecheong Lake.

Second, deep ocean water and salt, and ... ferment science
After steaming the soybeans by deep ocean water that is rich in natural minerals, boiled and passed through fermentation process for 48 hours, added a little bit of deep ocean water salt and ripened treated at low temperature. Since it passed through sealed fermentation process so as not to infiltrate other contaminated germ, it scarcely produce smell that is peculiar to Cheonggukjang unlike the common Cheonggukjang.

*What is the deep ocean water?
As seawater of deep sea over the water depth 200m, it is clean ocean resource that keeps a stable low degree of temperature below 2°C all the year round and contains plenty of inorganic substance such as useful nutritious salt, mineral etc and organic substance and bacillus hardly exist. The Wooleung deep ocean water produced by Panablu Co., Ltd., an affiliate of SK Gas Co., Ltd., is seawater taken from the deep sea 1500m of the uncontaminated sea, 4.7km ahead Hyunpo-Li, Wooleung Island.
