Circular Thread Rolls
MPT Circular thread rolls are Cylindrical thread rolling dies for precision and production thread rolling of fasteners and components.
MPT Thread Rolls are manufactured from selected grade of tools steel as per end use. Thread Roll blanks are precisely machined and turned.Key way is slotted with radiii in corners to avoid corner stress. Boring is done accuratly to maintain concentricity.
MPT Circular Thread Rolls are made for Thru-feed and In-feed thread rolling operations.
Features of MPT Circular Thread Rolls : GROUND THREAD PROFILE : MPT thread rolls have Proper Ground Thread profile which gives proper thread parameters on rolled fasteners.
RADIUSED TOPS : MPT Circular Thread rolls have threads with radii on both sides, on Top and bottom of threads. Due to these radii, the material flows smoothly during rolling and the chances of forming Laps and cracks are minimal.
Radiused Root Runout : Radiused Run Out (RRO) can also be provided on uncomplete threads portions at ends of dies, to eliminate stress and failure chances in fasterners which are subjected to heat treatment.
