Features of MPT Thread Rolling Flat Dies :
Ground Profile : Thread rolling with Ground thread dies provide high accuracy on fasteners threads and smooth finish due to proper flow of material during rolling.
Proper Lead-In and Run-off : MPT dies have proper angle of entry (Lead-In) and exit angle (Run-off) to facilate smooth loading of blank on dies and proper exit after rolling. Angle of entry is provided as per matching diameter of fasteners with length of dies. Mostly 3D Lead-in is provided.
RadiusedTops : MPT dies have threads with radii on both sides,on Top and bottom of threads. Due to these radii, the material flows smoothly during rolling and the chances of forming Laps and cracks are minimal.
Radiused Root Runout : Radiused Run Out (RRO) can also be provided on uncomplete threads portions to eliminate stress and failure chances in fasterners which are subjected to heat treatment.
