The spindles made of high strength and abrasion resistance material are supported by three sets of bearings lacated in the headstock and at the end of the spindle. This means the wheel is on both-end supports, resulting in considerable increase of spindle rigidity. The rigid oil film pressure generated in the hydrodynamic bearings ensures excellent bearing strength and good vibration damping effects, which are required for heavy-duty drinding as well as for high precision grinding.

The lower slide controls workrest feed, while the upper slide controls regulating wheel feed. Both slides have a fine feed handle and a rapid feed handle respectively so that positioning and feeding operation are conveniently carried out. The backlash adjusting device in the feed screw nuts make precision feeding possible at all times.
