NEXTBIO has a core technology called "SUPER DROP PROCESS". We are working on extracting high-concentration coffee over 20bx in a short time using only purified water without concentration process or any other special solvents.
The high-concentration extract is good for use as a base for making various beverages.
Therefore, it is used as a base for beverage in several domestic cafe franchises. It is also used by F&B as a base or flavoring for RTDs.
It is also used to make icecreams, bagels, puddings, and coffee flavored ice, etc.
More than 15 major cafe franchises are using our extract as a base for beverages.
And it is also used in most RTD beverages delivered to convenience stors, golf clubs, and food services through about 10 F&B companies.
"SUPER DROP PROCESS" has great advantages, especially when it comes to coffee.
1 Extraction without concentration
In order to concentrate the coffee at a high concentration, the coffee must be brewed in water for a long time or artificially strongly squeezed. This process may extract high-concentraction extract, but it also extract unnecessary ingredients and messy taste and aroma from the beans.
We however, extract pure water at a high concentration for an hour to an hour and a half with purified water below 18 degrees, and it has a clean taste and aroma.
2 Extraction with purificed water at a low temperature under 18 degrees.
We don't use solvents to artificially extract solids or extract at high temperatures. As you well know, coffee is very sensitive to heat. When exposed to heat, the taste and aroma are lost and the unpleasant acidity rises.
We only extract with purified water below 18 degrees, we can get coffee extract with the tast and aroma intact.
3 High-concentration coffee extract
Usually, if you extract with cold water in a short time, it is difficult to extract more than 20bx of coffee. But "SUPER DROP PROCESS" is possible. Low-temperature ultra-fine grinding technology makes possible high-concentration extraction with the tast and aroma intact in a short time.
4 Multi Stage Drying Process
Premium cold brew coffee powder, made of 100% of our cold brew coffee extracts by spray drying method, yields a highly concentrated flavour with intense aroma.
- 25 brix cold brew coffee by SDP
As we make a powder from 25bx cold brew coffee solution without concentration, we can minimize the loss of coffee flavor.
- Multi Stage Drying Process
We adopt a low temperature multi-stage drying process instead conventional hot temperature spray drying process. Thanks to the cool process, we can minimize the loss of coffee flavor as well.
- Automated Particle Separation and Packaging
A sieving machine attached to the bottom of drying tower automatically separates optimum size powders and pack them. This process ensures the stability and hygiene of final products.
