Many standard liquid eyebrow pens on the market use a 'sponge' design where the formula is housed within a sponge filter rather than directly within the packaging. Because of this filling system, the formula tends to be absorbed more by the sponge than it is dispensed, leading to quick drying tips and color fading over time. Additionally, eyebrow products cover a wider area compared to eyeliners. Marker tips (felt type) have very fine pores that can easily become blocked by substances like makeup or dirt, causing customers to mistakenly believe the tip has dried. With a brush applicator, you don't need to worry about tip blockage, as the brush can be easily wiped clean for continued use.

How to distinguish the free-flowing (ink tank) type from marker types:

Simply shake the pen and listen for a sound. If you hear something, it's a free-flowing ink tank type.

These types of eyebrow pens contain a metal ball inside that mixes the pigment for even color application. Sponge types, on the other hand, do not make any sound.

Various packaging looks to choose from:

- HLT packaging: Bullet shaped container provides comfort grip during use. It offers 1.0g capacity for long time use. HLT is also available with flat top cap and flat bottom end plug, which can be used interchangeably with standard round cap and end plug. You can create 4 different looks (round cap + round end plug: standard HLT, flat cap + flat end plug: Flat HLT, round cap + flat end plug, flat cap + round end plug).

- LE01 packaging: Thin and easy to use like standard eyeliner pens. This packaging has 0.5g capacity and shape is familiar for everyday users.

- Oval brush: The brush is flattened so you can enjoy 2-in-1 effect. Use sharper side to outline brows and use wider side to fill in. - Slant brush: The brush shape is perfect to draw larger area of brows. Based on how you angle the pen, you can enjoy detailed brows and/or natural looking brows. The end of brush is strong and elastic, especially making it easy to draw the details of eyebrow tail end.
