A digital twin modeling in WAiSER is based on BAS(Big data, AI and Simulation). When we analyze something in the engineering point of view, data science and system science are often used. Data science includes big data and ai, and system science includes simulation. Data science and system science have their pros and cons respectively. 

BAS combines Big data, AI and Simulation with their merits only. The whole structure of a model and relationships among data could be described explicitly through system science. A model validation and a black box modeling are available through data science when domain knowledge is limited.
