N.thing's modular vertical farm is an integrated farming solution to provide safe and fresh crops all around the world with stable quality. It is an indoor vertical farm made from a 40-foot HC reefer container. Containers can be stacked and arranged to meet size requirements and purposes, ensuring the yield of tens of times more than typical farmland per unit area.

In a fully controlled environment with IoT technology and dedicated OS, crops are grown as pesticide-free and clean enough to eat without washing them because the entry of harmful substances is blocked. And it's not affected by the external climate, so it's always producing uniform quality crops everywhere. This is the sustainable model for agriculture, as opposed to conventional farming, as it does not pollute or affect the environment around it. It solves the uncertainty of conventional farming that is suitable to export all over the world.

Our solution is a modular vertical farm in a 40-foot container, with technology to provide stable distribution regardless of season and weather by cultivating high-quality vegetables in a fully controlled environment year-round. While ensuring production over tens of times higher than ordinary farmland per unit area.

It uses 1.4% of water compared to conventional farming with hydroponics technology. Neither soil nor pesticides are used to ensure sustainable production and credible foods. This alone can prevent foodborne illness outbreaks.

Vertical stacking system can utilize the space more efficiently than the horizontal open field cultivation and can also make the work process more efficient. All inner/outer components are standardized and modularized. We can configure the required number and type of modules and assemble them in parallel, scaling from 1 to 1,000 units.

A dedicated farm operating system, ‘CUBE OS’ developed  by n.thing, makes decisions to optimize the cultivation process based on data collected during the cultivation process and programmed algorithmes. The CUBE OS is integrated into the vertical farm, so that the same quality of production can be obtained from all container modules throughout the year, anywhere in the world.

Now, this modular vertical farm is operated in the Republic of Korea and the United Arab Emirates. From cities to deserts, from Earth to Mars, despite different environmental conditions, it can produce the best quality vegetables everywhere without using any harmful chemicals with incredible sustainability.
