The Multi-Service Industrial Doors meet all requirements concerning Protection from Flood and Fire, and yet maintain appearance and ease of operation as ordinary doors do.

These doors are entirely different from some other flood doors requiring forced closing, such as 1) those equipped with closing lever or wheel, 2) those using electric power or pneumatic forces. The Multi-Service Industrial Doors are not so heavy as the ecisting flood doors but good enough to protect your lives and properties from flooding and fire flames by providing the following characteristics:-

1)To be set in motion with 133N and swing to full-open with 67N force, satisfying the Egress Requirements set by NFPA(USA)

2) Capable of Self-closing even at the position of 200mm open.

3) Earthquake-resistant against 0.3g Ground Acceleration, equivalent to MMI VIII.

4) Watertight against Flood with 3m Hydrostatic Head, which was shown by the test carried out immediately after the earthquake-resistance test mentioned above.

5) Fire-protectiog for 3 Hours under UL10C Test Conditions.

6) A number of patents related to these doors have been registered.
