It has been upgraded for 2018 with the reintroduction of the Passion XPro variant. The bike receives a subtle redesign in areas like the headlamp, fuel tank, side panels and tailpiece, and also receives a new LED tail lamp. It gets a digital analogue instrument console which houses info like the odometer, tripmeters, side stand indicator and fuel level. The previous Passion Pro used to come with Hero’s tried and tested 97.2 motor. In its place, the new one gets a 109.1cc air-cooled single. It delivers 9.4PS and 9.0Nm of torque, both figures up from the previous motor. Fuel efficiency should be better as well, given that the bike also gets Hero’s iSmart start-stop technology. The bike uses a new double cradle frame that is claimed to be more rigid and has reduced flex. This is said to have improved the bike’s stability and road manners. Braking is via drum brakes on both sides, with an optional 240mm front disc brake. The three bikes are expected to be launched before the 2018 Auto Expo.
