A laser light is reflected off an oscillating mirror to generate a laser sheet (film of light) through high-speed scanning. With this method, since the light intensity with which the target is irradiated is roughly the same as a single laser, it boasts excellent properties for obtaining strong and uniform scattered light.

For the image sensor, an AP imager, which applies the avalanche multiplication phenomenon of an electric charge which occurs in amorphous selenium photoconductive film under a high electric field. As noise does not increase when sensitivity is amplified, even extremely faint scattered light can be clearly imaged without being buried in noise. 

Visualization image processing package

This is a package that combines a suite of image processing software required for scattered light visualization with a compact high-sensitivity camera included as standard. Combining a visualization light source produces a visualization system with real-time image processing functions.

The Parallel Eye F is a light source for laser sheets that uses a fiber and a smaller irradiation head. The Parallel Eye F has significantly enhanced the degree of freedom for installing the irradiation head. This freedom makes the Parallel Eye F the optimal light source for laser sheets used inside a device and for visualizing high-speed airflow.
