Story of Turkish Crayfish started during the 1960s by entering Swedish market. The crayfish from Turkey is closely related to the original Swedish crayfish, and is the best in quality, as well as the Swedish river crayfish.
As Sahlanlar company we are proud to be a part of this success story of Turkish Crayfish.
The Turkish crayfish grows slowly. It takes about five years for them to grow up. The crayfishes are absorbed by smaller motorboats around mountain lakes all over Turkey but mainly in Egirdir Lake.
Fresh crayfish starts on July 1st each year and continues until the end of August.
Then the production of the frozen crayfish commences until the end of October
