Protinet™1
Protinet™1 is a biocompatible, porous, biodegradable gel. It is a sponge-like porous network Scaffold that provides a perfect environment for cell adhesion, growth and proliferation by completely passing the culture medium through the interpenetrating hole.
It has a little viscosity and elasticity, and can be made in various sizes and thicknesses depending on the application. In addition, it is a sponge structure, which enables smooth supply of cell culture medium, which allows the structure to slowly dissolve and absorb as cells grow.
The cells are cultured in the same method as the 2D cell culture method, and the cells are implanted into Protinet™1 and cultured three-dimensionally. Cells form spheroids on their own as they proliferate, resulting in efficient cell growth and intercellular interactions. It is possible to culture cells with existing culture medium, and it is applicable to many fields such as cancer cell and stem cell research, basic life science research, new drug development.
