Engine: The main propulsion engine is a Deutz diesel, 8 cylinder, model RBVBM-545 and serial number 4573241. The engine is rated at 1750 BHP at 500 RPM. The engine is fitted with air start, turbocharger and a fixed pitch propeller. The condition of the engine from a visual examination is considered to be fair.
Additional Information: The general deck layout is a forecastle deck, port bosun store room, starboard generator room, walking decks on both sides, two (2) hatches, expandable boom hydraulic crane set on a pedestal between hatches No. 1 and 2, accommodation house aft and poop deck. The below deck layout is a fore peak tank, chain locker, two(2) holds divided by a watertight bulkhead, double bottom tanks below the tank top, engine room and after peak tank. The hatches are closed with MacGregor steel roll away covers which were in place but not secured.Equipment remaining onboard includes the following:

Noted deficiencies sighted:
1. The crane is leaking oil from the hydraulic oil piping below the crane.
2. The anchor windlass is leaking oil from the port hydraulic drive motor shaft seal and the brake liners are worn.
3. The hatch cover cross wedges are missing, the wedge retainers are bent and damaged, the hatch covers are misaligned and are not watertight.
4. The custodian reported that the oily water separator is not operational.
5. The custodian reported that there is cross flooding of the double bottom ballast tanks.
6. The custodian reported that the crane is not operational.
