Product Information
Crushing and hand sorting which produces Metallurgical Grade
Fluorite ranging from 80% to 90% CaF2.
Floatation and Gravity Concentration to upgrade the raw ore
to Acid Grade assaying 97% CaF2.
Production of Metallurgical Grade Fluorite:
·
The Fluorite from the ROM (Run of Mine) usually
averages between 30% to 60% CaF2
·
Manual hand sorting takes place for preparation
of ore to be fed to the crush plant
·
Hand sorted ore is fed to the Crush Plant and is
crushed to specific sizes demanded by customers (10-40mm, 20-50mm, 20-40mm,
20-60mm), the sizes are controlled by vibrator screens installed to the crush
plant and each size is carried to the packing floor by conveyor belts. Whilst crushing,
washing of the ore also takes place simultaneously to remove impurities and
upgrade the CaF2 content
·
To ensure quality, our QA/QC department takes
representative samples before and after crushing to be analyzed in our in-house
laboratory for quality assurance
·
The output grade is usually demand based. The
grades produced are 80%, 85% and 90% CaF2
