Shandong Jinhai Titanium Resources Technology Co., Ltd., a subordinate of Shandong Lubei Enterprise Group General Company, is located in the Lubei High and New Technology Development Zone in the most northern of Shandong Province and lying in the overlay region of the Yellow River Delta Efficient Ecological Economic Zone and the Circum-Bohai Sea Economic Zone, boasts superior geographical environment and convenient waterway(closed to the Huanghua Port and about 120km away from Tianjin Port) and highway transportation(the highways from Changchun to Shenzhen and from Tianjin to Shanwei passing through it.
Lubei Group has been in titanium industries for more than ten years. In July,2002 Lubei Group set up Lubei Titanium Industry Co. ,Ltd with the capacity of 15Kt/a and developed to 60Kt/a. On this basis, the group continues to expand the scale and found the new rutile titanium dioxide project—Shandong Jinhai Titanium Resources Technology Co., Ltd., which was founded in 2012 and put into production in April, 2013. At present, the company possesses more than 500 workers, about 200 engaged in engineer and technology. The production capacity of the project is 100Kt/a rutile titanium dioxide. The leading products are nano-titanium dioxide, fiber grade titanium dioxide, coating grade titanium dioxide, plastic grade titanium dioxide, titanium tungsten powder and denitration catalyst etc.
The project adopts the domestic and foreign advanced technology, the key equipment and the DCS control devices, and occupies the leading position in the domestic. Relying on the patent technology of “the comprehensive of titanium dioxide waste acid” , “ sulphuric acid and cement production from phospho-gypsum” and “the comprehensive of denitration catalyst” which are invented by Lubei Group, to achieve the co-production of the titanium, sulfur, chlorine, phosphorous and calcium, recycle the waste denitrifying agent, and realize the effective circulation and comprehensive utilization of the resources.
Relying on the exiting production equipments of 100Kt/a rutile titanium dioxide, the company is building the production line of 20Kt/a denitration titanium dioxide and 10000 cubic meters/a denitration catalyst.
At present, the company is building the 100Kt/a high-slag project, 100Kt/a chloride process titanium dioxide and the supporting thermodynamic project to build a titanium dioxide industrial base relying on the location advantage and technology advantage.
