1. Introduction

Korea Highway Airport Technology Co., Ltd. is the only company in the Korea to develop pavement management system and doing maintenance business, develop and sale the road and airport pavement analysis equipment. We also specialized on developing and selling of liquidity resistant asphalt pavement mixture and constructing special pavement and technical support business.

It is the decision making support system that develop suitable pavement management system for ordered organization and apply to PMS maintenance, highway traffics and information communication field based on Date Base. Fixing the problems created during the establishing maintenance plan and pavement construction to rationalize process of pavement management and decreasing the cost is the data base of decision making.

We are on the front of developing high technology. We proudly believe that we are playing a role of pioneer for undeveloped highway & airport pavement management system (PMS) field in Korea, and trying our best to develop new technology and be the guidance on the field. We are concentrating on developing variety of technology with high practical value and convenience.

To be a link in a chain, we lay emphasis on developing all inclusive artificial intelligent programs including animation, 3D Graphic, virtual reality and fuzzy theory etc. and apply to system to offer Real Time moving picture data to institution supervisors for more realistic and concrete management. Also by using specialist system which is part of artificial intelligent, we want to upgrade simple and static data base operation to step higher to insure the best technology competitive power and commercialize the developed system to maximize value added.

We want to explain our company’s technical services and contents of product developments as below.

First, it is the highway & airport pavement management system service which collects the data and analysis the condition and evaluate, pavement maintenance and economical analysis and agency with advanced technologies.

Also, we are doing designing and consulting for highway and airport pavement, nondestructive and deflection test (using FWD equipment), photographing the pavement surfaces to collect data, analysis pavement damage status, develop pavement analysis software, geographic information system (GIS), research & develop highway and airport pavement, analysis pavement material and site exam and lecture and training for pavement technicians as part of highway & airport pavement management system service.

Secondly, developing and sale of liquidity resistant asphalt pavement mixture.
Through development of liquidity resistant asphalt pavement mixture, we maximized the weights of mid-size vehicles and aircraft load. With increase of mid-size vehicle, highway and airport pavement requires liquidity resistance in asphalt pavement mixture and we are trying our best to meet these requirements.

Thirdly, it is development of highway and airport pavement management materials. We want to execute economical pavement maintenance through variety of maintenance method and material development and increases pavement commonality and establish efficient pavement maintenance system.

Fourthly, it is developing and sale of analysis vehicle (own brand: ARAM or KOHAT-ROADVIDEO) for PMS’s basic pavement test which can establish accurate data of pavement maintenance through most advanced technology. We want to contribute in deed as well as in name Korea pavement management system by substitute importing high prices foreign PMS equipments.
