1. Production process: SBS (thermoplastic SBR) is a kind of block copolymer made from butadiene and styrene by the method of anionic polymerization. SBS is of excellent performance of both rubber and plastics, with good flexibility, low temperature resistance performance, processing without curing, and can be produced by using direct injection, molding, extrusion molding and other processing methods
2. Purpose: SBS is widely used in shoe-making, asphalt modification, plastic modification and adhesives industry. SBS modified bitumen can enhance the softening temperature of asphalt and improve low-temperature brittle performance to decrease temperature sensitivity, increase the intensity, improve flexibility, impact, cohesive force, wear resistance and prolong the lifetime.
