Jeju island, a UNESCO triple crown and one of the world`s ‘Seven Wonders of Nature’ is the place of origin of Korean Dendro-panax. Korean Dendro-Panax, a species of ginseng, is a unique plant growing only in Jeju island and the southern region of South Korea. Its scientific name is Dendropanax and has two distinct meanings – Dendro(tree) + Panax(panacea) Korean Dendro-panax is growing only in pollutionfree region like Jeju that gained worldwide recognition. Plenty of minerals in volcanic rock and strong offshore winds have made the plant far more vigorous with a persistent vitality.
