Silane RJ-550 is clear colorless liquid,completely and immediately soluble in water (with reaction), alcohol, and aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons. Ketone are not recommended as diluents.
Application
Silane RJ-550 can be used in variety of applications, including:
Coating,Sealant and Adhesive
• Improve adhesion
• Used as adhesion promoter to glass,
aluminum,steel and other inorganic surface in acrylic,polysulfide,urethane,RTV,
epoxy,nitrile and phenolic adhesive,
sealant and coating.
Plastic and Cable
• Pretreatment agent for filler
• Suitable for mineral-filled plastics and halogen free flame retardant cable
• Improve the bond capacity between resin and fillers.
Resin based composites
• Improve wet electrical propertie,
flexural, compressive and interlaminar
shear strengths
• Suitable for casting resin like phenolic, furan, melamine resin and so on.
Glass fiber
• Used as a surface treatment agent
Others
Be used as coupling agent, improve the adhesion between organic and inorganic materials.
