Ergonomics and Use

Rotation of the VOLAGRIP^TM instruments is performed smoothly through a natural rotation of the wrist, and is also available through the easily accessible serrated dial. The patented VOLAGRIP^TM handle is size-adjustable to suit different hand sizes.

VOLAGRIP^TM has been through extensive testing by the Experimental OR and Ergonomics at the University Hospital of Tuebingen, Germany. The test compared VOLAGRIP^TM with leading suppliers of disposable instruments for minimally invasive surgery, and the results show that VOLAGRIP^TM has outstanding ergonomic qualities. CLINCH, SCISSORS, MARYLAND and STRAIGHT GRASPER

VOLAGRIPTM CLINCH and STRAIGHT GRASPER are graspers with ratchet mechanism that can be switched on or off, for user's preference.	VOLAGRIPTM SCISSORS and MARYLAND are dissectors with monopolar cautery. The cautery connection located on bottom of the handle may be utilized for monopolar cautery when attached to standard cautery cables and their generators.
