Predicting a successful drainage procedure is a complex and multifactorial process based on the size, location, character, configuration of the abscess and user's skill. How to use

1. Arrow mark of Locking knob is indicated to the "Un-lock" position.
2. When the drainage catheter is placed in the body correctly, physicians take the stylet out of the catheter and pull the mono-filament out gently until stop the pulling, which means the distal tip of catheter is fixed with catheter body in pig-tail shape in the catheter placement position.
3. Then turn the locking knob clock-wise to the mark of "lock" to prevent from releasing of the mono-filament and firm fixation of catheter.
4. When physician remove the catheter out of patient, just turn the Locking Knob counter clock wise to the arrow mark position of "Unlock". Then, the mono-filament will be released.
5. Physician can take the catheter out of the patient body easily.
