Product Information
We care about people.
Our primary goal is to protect workers and save their families.
So, safety is the first.
Every member of the company is dedicated to the development of nuclear medicine equipment in the pursuit of protecting and saving lives from being contaminated by hazardous materials. We Nuclear Light Ind. Co. Ltd., hereafter called NL, do believe that personal safety is the most valuable asset that we are pursuing. Our mission is therefore to give the people comfort, relief, and happiness by producing and supplying reliable devices that are designed and developed with a sophisticated manner.
NL was founded in 1992 with the aim to enhance development of a variety of businesses related to the nuclear medicine, starting off with radiation shielding facility construction, documentation service for the approval of facilities where they produce radiopharmaceuticals, and supplying dose calibrators, and later extended into the development of the hot cell with its subsidiary devises, leading to one of prominent organization recognized by the market as an innovative firm in S. Korea.
With nuclear medicine related equipment and well established know-how - piled up over two decades - of the development of radiation shielding technologies, NL has contributed to the industry in terms of radiation safety concerns and comfort use, resulting in the industrial enhancement with the accumulated radiation technique and experience. As the industrial leader, NL is committed to providing better service by continuously putting a step further toward clients.
Development History
Since we first developed and installed the NUCLOCK series in 1993 at the Samsung Medical Center, we have set up and spread the series throughout prominent hospitals such as Seoul National University Hospital, ASAN Medical Center, National Cancer Center, and You-sei University Health System with many others in South Korea.
We have since gradually developed the technologies to meet global standards. As a result, we have first exported the NUCLOCK series to Thailand Institute of Nuclear Technology in Thailand, state-run-company, in 2011 and 2012 respectively thanks to IAEA that gave a special recommendation letter to the institute after NL had been recognized by the global community. Considering our dedicated efforts to enhance the NUCLOCK series every single day and recognition made by domestic and global communities, we are certain that the NUCLOCK series will be loved and found all around the world.
NUCLOCK Hot Cell series
The NUCLOCK hot cell series are all designed to accommodate dispensing systems or synthesis modules in safe, reliable, and sterile conditions. The NUCLOCK series with single or double either horizontally or vertically built is to have different configurations in regard to overall dimension, shielding and various accessories.
The supportive material used for the structure of all the NUCLOCK is made of steel plate H. Beam (SS400). The internal working area is made of stainless steel with well polished surface, designed to allow for easy cleaning and decontamination.
The NUCLOCK series are all equipped with a touch screen that provides clear image, easy-to-use, and ergonomics, leading to accessing all the functions to be managed and controlled easily at a single point.
The NUCLOCK is also equipped with air tight system with acrylic glass panel held by inflatable gaskets mounted around the perimeter of all the main ports in accordance with a number of cells.
Vial extraction system for the NUCLOCK series is placed in a shielded container on the side of a cell where it can house a vial. It is therefore possible to extract the radiopharmaceuticals without opening the main door.
The ventilated pre-chambers for the introduction of materials are mounted on either side suitable for preparing dose of radio medicines.
Dispensing Hot Cell
The NUCLOCK N2 is a hot cell made for radiopharmaceuticals dispensing to be carried out in accordance with the GMP standards thanks to air tight, ventilation system with HEPA filters, absolute filtering and inside surfaces quality.
The main features of the N2 series:
Ventilation
→ Inlet HEPA filters;
→ Outlet HEPA
→ In order to avoid any influence on the local laminar flow of dispensing unit, the atmosphere pureness inside the box is assured by flat filters (both inlet and outlet) and a high quantity of air changes per hour.
Accessories
→ Air-tight and minimum volume duct with double door (ball valves) for vials extraction without altering cell sterility.
