Product Information
Heating elements heated in water are easily scaled and oxidation decayed by different kinds of minerals and chemicals such as acid and alkali solution. The calcium carbonate generated from ionic reaction by heating water is accumulated on the surface, and the acid formed around the heater, accelerates oxidation decay.
A welding tube, used as the sheath, cracks the surface; the area welded with flange is stressed and accumulates iron.
Such condition can result in cracking and leakages as
the area rapidly oxidize. Materials such as Incoloy840, SUS316L, and bronze
pipes are compatible with this environment.
To decrease oxidation decay, the surface is electrolysis polished or nickel-plated.
SUS304 or brass is ideal for the flange material. The outer diameters of the
heaters are 11.0, 8.0, and 6.5.
