Corea brake Co., Ltd. has been associated with the supply and manufacture of original quality Disc brake pads for commercial vehicles and the Company has always enjoyed a reputation for quality, service and value. However, the company's products will only perform to their best when coupled with friction materials and assemblies of the same standard. That's led us to invest more and more in associated components - namely disc pads and brake linings - to compliment our comprehensive product range and offer a guaranteed performance package to our customers.

Friction products offered by Corea Brake are thoroughly research and tested. We only use factories that supply original materials as part of their program and therefore apply quality systems to the appropriate level. A good example of our Product quality is the new range of disc brake pads. This range of products carries all necessary approvals and are manufactured with original equipment standard throughout, ensuring product performance and overall safety.

To achieve this a durable steel grid mesh welded to the backing plate on the friction material side. This mesh allows for friction material to "flow" through it during the moulding Process and creates a mechanical joint to the backing plate it stops any lift and / or cracking of the joint during severe thermal stress and therefore any propagation of a crack through to material shear.

To get optimum material performance the friction material compound utilized may not always be the most receptive material for adhesion to the backing plate. Even with the introduction of a "grid-mesh" the material shear strength may no be optimum. However, modern technology long since found the solution to that through the use of "inter-layer" materials. This is a controlled intermediate layer of friction material compound that is placed in the mould between the main block of friction materials compound and the backing plate.
it exhibits superb shear strength and bonding ability.

During the moulding process the inter-layer adheres securely to the backing plate and flows organically into the main friction block transforming the material characteristics of the friction block into a superb jointing material. The resulting joint is strong, reliable and of the standard required for long term service at extreme stress. It's a first class adhesive attachment and a strong mechanical retention system. As might be expected, it's also the standard required by all of the leading system and vehicle manufacturers.
