Product Information
Thallium doped cesium iodide, CsI(TI) is one of the brightest scintillators, which has wide application in radiation detection, high energy physics, safety inspection and geological exploration. Its maximum emission peak was at 550nm, matched well with photodiode, thus make the read-out system simplified significantly.
EPIC growed cesium iodide crystal by using non-vacuum modified bridgman menthod with super pure 99.999% CsI raw material, used oxygen scavenger reacted with oxide impurities at high temperature, ensured the growing environment without the existing of any oxygen, which was great helpful for the growth of high purity crystal.
Meanwhile, the crystal`s anti-radiation hardness was improved, and the application of multi-crucibles in the manufacturing process make the cost be reduced considerably.
