What's Neomond?

Neomond provides nanodiamond dispersions in aqueous solutions, organic solvents and ammonia solutions, and Neomond products clearly stand out from products offered by other companies. Nano-materials, when their particles become smaller than nano-particles, display a sudden change in characteristics. Nanodiamond products that make use of this property are already in common use in many industries.

NeoEnBiz's Neomond offers dispersion stability (water, organic solvent) and controlled particle size. Dispersed nanodiamond particles have been found to be useful in many applications, and one of the main fields of application is improving scratch and abrasion resistance. Such applications are valuable for lubricants and grease, and resins containing nano-sized nanodiamond particles can be used for industrial paints to effortlessly improve abrasion resistance and thermal efficiency.

The Annex 7 Nickel(CAS No. 7440-02-0, EC No. 231-111-4 and its compounds) regulation of REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and restriction of Chemicals) states that of products distributed on the market, those that come into direct contact with the human body must not contain nickel. This means that sealing materials containing nickel cannot be used for anodized products in electroplating, and NeoEnBiz used the environmentally-friendly nanodiamond to develop a new sealing material. The material shows minimum thermal expansion and excellent chemical stability in both acidic and basic conditions. Thus Neomond, which contains surface-modified nanodiamond particles, can be used in many kinds of products to enhance product characteristics.
