These explosion-proof dust collectors are suitable for work sites where dust of explosion hazard is created.

They are safety-oriented dust collectors that have an explosion-proof design with antistatic filters and explosion-proof motors for preventing dust of explosion hazard such as magnesium, zinc, and dust coal created at worksite from being ignited an exploded.

The DEC series are dust collectors that are designed to prevent explosion hazard by collecting dust of high explosion hazard, and to minimize damages in case dust explosion occurs.

Applications

It is recommended to use wet type explosion proof dust collectors for magnesium or aluminum dust because they are specially explosion hazardous.

These products are suitable for work sites where Collecting aluminum, magnesium, titanium, cornstarch, epoxy resins, and coal particle.

Safety-oriented design against dust explosion hazard

This product is a safety-oriented dust collector that has an explosion-proof design with antistatic filters and an explosion-proof motor for preventing dust from being ignited an exploded.

The whole box having the structure of complete sealing

This product uses flame-retardant cables, and has an explosion-proof box of completely-sealed structure. Therefore, it is free from worries of being exposed to dust, and it prevent leak even when sparks are created due to electrical causes.

Backdraft damper

In cases where explosion occurs inside the dust collector, this product prevents the blast from entering inside through duct, for preventing damage diffusion and protecting workers.

Explosion-induced pressure diffusion hole (explosion-evasion window)

In cases where explosion occurs inside the dust collector, this product guides and discharges the explosive energy through the explosion-induced pressure diffusion hole arranged at its back, for minimizing damages.

Antistatic filters

This product has antistatic cartridge filters, for preventing dust of high explosion hazard from being exposed to static electricity and being exploded. In addition, this product features optional mounting of filters such as 3D Porex, Nomex, flame-retardant, and membrane filters to meet the situation of work sites.

Automatic filter cleaning system (Air Pulse Jet System)

The air pulse Jet system automatically blasts high-pressure air for dedusting the filters, which increases dust collection efficiency, enables 24/7 operation, and extends filter life.  The operating time of the air pulse jet system can be adjusted at the operator's discretion.

High mobility and space utilization

This product has wheels for easy movement to and installation at desired locations. After movement, it can be fixed firmly with wheel brakes. In addition, it has high space utilization, because it can be installed at small spaces based on compact design (in the case of indoor type).

※ If an explosion occurs, the product may move due to explosive energy. Therefore, it is recommended to fix the product by using an anchor bolt.

Digital differential pressure gauge

This gauge enables the identification of contaminants, replacement timing of the filters, etc., so that the operator can manage it safely and conveniently.

Easy maintenance

This product is designed for easy maintenance by mounting the devices requiring maintenance such as the filters, the air pulse valves, and the air tanks to the front of the product. In addition, the filters can be replaced easily without any tool.

Automatic dedusting function after operation

After the operation of the product is completed (fan motor off), the air pulse jet system automatically cleans the filters, which increases dust collection efficiency, and extends filter life. (The dedusting time can be adjusted.)

High scalability

1) The location of the intake hole can be modified to meet the environment of work sites.

2) Flexible arm hood, etc. can be mounted to meet the situation of work sites and subject materials.

3) This product can be manufactured with various capacities and shapes to meet the situation of work sites and customers' requirements.

Easy disposal of dust

This product is designed to have a structure that collects dust removed from the filters in a drawer-type dust box or a cylindrical one-touch detachable box installed at the bottom of the product, which enables easy disposal of dust without worries about secondary contamination.
