IL-Seung has been researched for long time to produce the finest treated water and finally found answer. We have been considered many different methods including membrance reactor system but at the end we have chosen Activated Carbon Method.
The reason why we adopted activated carbon method was to fulfill the standards but in the same time, we wanted to minimize the maintenance expenses and size. In compare to other systems, price for replacing activated carbon in much lower, smaller size with high effciency, and also activated carbon can be re-generated for period of time.
IL-Seung's own technology, "Fixed Media Method" has been developed with previous sewage treatment plant to maximize the contact surface of microorganisms so it can treat sewage optimally. The microorganism in sewage treatment plant tend to stick on the surface. Which means microorganisms will only live around the surface of the chamber, not in the center.
This propensity hinders the entire process. Fixed Media has been developed to prevent this delay. By filling up the chanber with media, it will increase the contact area of microorganism with sewage. If you want the quick process without any lagging, this is the perfect invention for you.
