What is an autoclave?

Laminating is forming or pressing paper, film, fabric, or other material into a thin sheet or layer with thermosetting resin to make the material stronger, more durable and resistant to humidity and stains. The important thing to reduce defects is ensure constant temperature that can bind thermosetting resin solution when laminating.   

 

This equipment is used for touch panel, mobile phone display, LCD/PDP, Polaroid film and protection film. This process is effective at adhesive bonding, removing bubble from adhesive, heat treatment of glass surface and stress relief of glasses. FA Series

FA Series (Film laminating Autoclave) is applied to manufacturing touch panel or small LCD plate. It is suitable for electric & electronic industry and many more applications.
 It is usually applied to process need to bind many films such as touch panel or mobile LCD display and improve quality by removing air bubble among films.

 FA series provides high performance products by accurate laminating process resulting in uniformity.

Principle of film laminating and applications

GA series
GA series (Glass Laminating Autoclave) is appropriate for removing air bubbles, heat treatment of glass surface and stress relief of products.  In general, glass is divided into 3 types as follows: Laminated glass, Pair glass, and Tempered glass.

 Laminated glass consists of two layers of glass with a layer of film bonded together in high pressure and high temperature. Although the glass may break, the laminated glass fragments remain firmly bonded to the interlayer, minimizing the risk of injuries.

 Pair glass just consists of 2 layers of glasses without film. Pair glass has an efficiency of insulation by a gap between glasses.

 Tempered glass is manufactured through a process of extreme heating and rapid cooling, making it harder than normal glass. Tempered glass shatters into oval-shaped pebbles when broken, therefore there are no sharp edges that can pose a danger. 

Principle and Applications of Gass Laminating

HA series

HA series is a pressure oven for semiconductor packaging process. 4 core technologies have brought the development of electronic products is semiconductor technology, semiconductor packaging technology, manufacturing technology and software technology. Semiconductor packaging technology usually means all kinds of electronic hardware technologies, consists of active element (semiconductor chip) and passive element(electric resistance, condenser), which is one of the most important and extensive technology. The important roles of semiconductor packaging is electric power supply, signaling connection between semiconductor elements, heat release and protecting electronic elements from environmental changes.
 First step of semiconductor packaging is making semiconductor into single chip module by wire bond, TAB(Tape Automated Bonding) and Flip chip.

 To make semiconductor module, in the process using Epoxy Resin such as Over mold and Underfill, removing air bubbles and voids is required to improve efficiency.
 Ilshin Autoclave’s HA series is manufactured to harden Epoxy resin, remove air bubble by gas pressure such as nitrogen, and perform hardening / degreasing process at the same time.

PA series

PA series is used for TFT / LCD laminating.
We improved product performance by installation of press in the center.
To improve process efficiency, high pressure and high temperature is required.

Thus, Ilshin Autoclave’s PA series has improved process efficiency by constant temperature and isotropic compression.
