Feature
Zircon(ZrSiO 4 ) is contained in all kinds of rocks, especially dense in granite, pegmatite. It is densified at inlet sands due to high specific gravity, and forms zircon sand. This will be the raw materical of metal zirconium(Zr) or zirconia(ZrO 2 ) and the large Mines are located in Malay Peninsula and Brazil.
Zirconia ceramic is a product having excellent heat insulration due to high melting point, less volatility, high corrosion resistance, low specific heat, and low thermal conductivity as well as having ighly efficient to quick heat change for small thermal expansion coefficient.
