Natural rubber has very good air tightness, good alkaline resistance property, but strong acid intolerance. Natural rubber, a non-polar rubber, can only be resistant to a number of polar solvents. It has bad oil resistance and will expand in nonpolar solvent (such as gasoline and diesel oil).
