EVE™ Plus is the world's fastest automated cell counter.
It is designed to measure cell count and viability with accuracy and precision by using the standard trypan blue technique within 1 second.

Auto focus & Manual focus
Auto focus
Total cell, live cell, dead cell and viability percentage will be displayed on the screen after 10 seconds of counting automatically.
More details such as cell concentration and size will be listed on the screen as well.
Manual focus
When you are satisfied with the image with pressing ZOOM button, press COUNT button.
Total cell, live cell, dead cell and viability percentage will be displayed on the screen within 1 second of counting.

Viability Measurement
Staining Method
EVE™ Plus is compatible with Trypan Blue (0.4%) and Erythrosine B (0.05%) staining, the two most commonly used exclusion dye to measure cell viability. Erythrosine B has the same staining principle as trypan blue which does not penetrate viable cells possess intact cell membranes but only stains non-viable cells.
Due to increasing environmental and health concerns, non-toxic erythrosine B has gained attention in many European countries and is regarded as an alternative to trypan blue for cell viability evaluation.

Clumped cell counting individually
Clumped cells were counted with EVE™ Plus, ADAM-MC2 (the nucleus cell counter),
and other manufacturers’ automated cell counter (A, B, and C).
EVE™ Plus is comparable to the nucleus counting for all cell lines with accuracy and precision.
The other automated cell counters A, B, and C were shown inaccurate numbers in the clumped cell.
EVE™ Plus identifies and counts the individual cells within the clumpy cells for accurate analysis.
Performance data
Correlation of Trypan Blue and Erythrosin B
Jurkart cells were counted with EVE™ Plus and the ADAM-MC2 utilizing trypan blue, erythrosin B, and acridine orange PI for staining.
EVE™ Plus, when using trypan blue and erythrosin B, produced results for total cell count and viability that were comparable to those obtained with the nucleus counter for cell lines.
