Rotary DIP switches toggle position as the user turns the actuator in a circular motion. 

The amount of rotation determines the output of the switch. 

A rotary DIP switch with four output pins can produce up to 16 different output configurations in binary code.

Rotary coded DIP switches vary in terms of maximum current rating, maximum AC voltage rating, maximum DC voltage rating, and maximum mechanical life. Terminal types include through hole, right angle, and SMT options. They come in tape and reel packaging.

Our 7 x 7mm miniature and 10 x 10mm compact versions are available in both surface mount-gull wing and through-hole terminal styles, paired with either slotted flush arrow rotors or slotted shaft actuators. The 10 x 10mm is also available in a J bend surface mount construction.
