Product Information
Midas MID-C102L is a mixture of natural polymer and an organic acid. MID-C102L is a high temperature retarder which can be used to retard all kind of API classes of cement and is effective in wells with temperature up to 350℉.
This additive provides excellent retardation in wells with bottom hole circulating temperature of
350℉.
MID-C102L has a dispersing effect on the slurry, increases thickening time and decreases the viscosity of the slurry.
The recommended dosage is 0.5-2.0 gallon per barrel depending on slurry’s weight, well’s temperature and solids to water ratio. High concentrations of this retarder and inconvenient compound of the slurry may cause the slurry separation.
