| Background | PLAP exist in the placenta and can express in ovarian germ cell tumor, testis and extragonadal germ cell tumors, including seminoma, embryonal carcinoma, gonadoblastoma, yolk sac, and choriocarcinoma, etc. But PLAP do not express in seminomatous seminoma and immature teratoma. PLAP is mainly used for differential diagnosis and auxiliary diagnosis of placental trophoblastic tumor, ovarian germ cell tumor, testis and extragonadal germ cell tumors. |

Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/PFA-fixed paraffin-embedded sections) analysis of human placenta tissue labeling Placental Alkaline Phosphatase Monoclonal Antibody with E-PA-3224 at dilution of 1:500. Heat induced epitope retrieval was performed by boiling the tissue sections in citrate buffer(PH6.0)for 20 minutes. Incubation with the primary antibody was performed for overnight at 4℃ followed by keeping at room temperature for 15mins. HRP conjugated Anti-Mouse secondary antibody was applied for 30 minutes at room temperature followed by DAB as chromogen, then counterstain with haematoxylin.
