BG (Butyl Glycol Ether) / BCS (Butyl Cellsolve)
Ethylene Glycol Monobutyl Ether (BG) is Colorless, Transparent liquid with low toxicity.
USAGE: It is widely used in water-based paints and are also used as solvents for Nitro cellulose, Alkyd resin and Phenolic resin that is modified by maleic anhydride. It is fog-proof, wrinkle-resisted and can improve the gloss and fluidity of the coating. It is also used as metal cleaning agent, paint remover, lubricant remover, car engine cleaning agent, dry-cleaning solvent, epoxy solvent, drug extraction, pesticide dispersants and oil dispersion mutual solvent of printing ink, cutting oil and fiber oil. It is also used as solvents for nitrocellulose, varnish, printing ink, printing ink for stamp, oil and resin, as stabilizers for latex.
