The base is the leaves of the upper part (3~5 gnarls on the top) from 10th of May when the efficacy of Ganghwa Lion-Paw Mugwort is contained at the highest level. The leaves are collected, washed, roasted in the pre-heated cast iron pot, rubbed and rolled by hands, and then fermented two times. The bitter taste has been reduced and generates delicate taste instead while containing the efficacy of Ganghwa Lion-paw Mugwort. The fine quality of cloth was hired for tea bags.
