The need is to prevent fire risks in coal mines which are not easily accessible and to reduce
maintenance of the conveyors which may be damaged by flames at the blast furnaces of
iron works.
#. The Method For Fire Resistance
-. Flame Duration Time: Within 60 seconds(Average of 3 pcs)
-. Remaining Fire: Not even 1pc shall cause flame reappearance
@. Test for Flame Duration Time
The belt test sample is exposed to the flame as in the drawing and after exposure for
one minute, the burner is removed and measurement of the effect of the flame
duration time is made on the test sample.
@. Test for Flame Reappearance
About 30 seconds after the flame is extinguished. a current of air of approximately
1.5m/sec velocity is blown on the sample and to observe whether the flame reappears
or not.
