LOOKER RED Dash Cam

LOOKER RED is a specialized in-vehicle recording device that is designed to record accidents while driving. It saves the video footage for the later viewing. Mounted to the windshield, the device turns on automatically upon starting ignition, and continuously records video.

LOOKER RED will provide decisive video evidence in the event of an accident.

Its video evidence will clearly identify who’s at fault and what’s exactly happened.

3D G-SENSOR

• Detects impact & turbulent movement

The built-in 3-axis G-Sensor detects impact to the vehicle and turbulent movement. It automatically stores footage in the event of an accident using built-in G-Sensor. The recorded video files of accident are saved separately in the Event folder for the purpose of later viewing.

EXTERNAL GPS (optional)

• Detailed information about driving

 You can check the driving information such as time, location, speed and driving route through the exclusive PC viewer. This information can be stored when the GPS receiver is connected.

SD CARD SELF FORMAT

• Direct SD card format in the device

 You don’t have to separate the micro SD memory card from the device to format at your PC. You can format the SD card by tapping the memory format button of advanced settings on the LCD screen.

SAFE VIDEO STORAGE IN CASE OF SUDDEN POWER DOWN

• Built-in backup battery

 It utilizes the backup battery in order to ensure that any ongoing recording is safely stored. Even if the power is lost after an unexpected accident, the last record can be securely saved using the backup battery. There’s no need to worry about data loss.

AUTOMATIC POWER OFF

• Prevents battery discharge during parking

 If the voltage of car battery drops below a certain level in parking mode, our dash cam will automatically disconnect the voltage and be off for preventing car battery discharge. You can set the level of cut-off voltage on the LCD screen and in the exclusive PC viewer as well.

POWER SAVING MODE

• Supports automatic sleep mode

 LCD only is off to save power according to the time you set, and recording doesn’t stop. LCD is back on by touching the black screen. You can set the standby time of switching to sleep mode: 30 seconds, 60 seconds, 3 minutes, and 5 minutes.

SECURITY LED

Its security warning light blinks to warn that it is recording video and the car is under surveillance by the dash cam.

AUDIO ASSISTANCE

EASY-TO-USE MOUNT WITH 3M ADHESIVE TAPE

It’s easy to adjust the angle of the mount up and down. Moreover, its 3M adhesive tape makes the device firmly fixed on the windshield. Compared to the suction cup mount, the tape mount secures the device firmly to the windshield minimizing the distance between the device and the windshield.

※It’s less susceptible to vibration and much less likely to be detached from the windshield in case of an accident or extreme weather.

PLAY BACK VIDEO FILES

You can play back recorded video files right on your dash cam and, in addition, on your PC or smartphone.

VARIOUS RECORDING MODES

• Normal recording (Continuous recording)

It saves videos automatically once the power is on. It records continuously while driving. Videos are recorded sequentially in 1-minute segments and saved in the INFINITE folder for the purpose of later viewing.

• Event recording (Impact recording / Incident recording)

It detects impact with built-in G-sensor and saves 30-sec video: 10 seconds before and 20 seconds after the impact. The recorded video files are saved separately in the EVENT folder for the purpose of later viewing. You can set the level of impact sensitivity.

• Manual recording (Forced recording)

 You can immediately capture and save any image you don’t want to miss by pressing the Power Button briefly. The recorded files are saved separately in the SELECT folder for the purpose of later viewing.

• Parking mode

• Automatic switching between normal recording and parking mode

  LOOKER RED automatically switches to parking mode when the engine is off. It records detected motions or hit-and-runs while parked. In addition, if the vehicle is stationary for 20 minutes, it will automatically convert to parking mode. You can select the standby time of switching to parking mode: 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, and 20 minutes. Parking mode will convert to normal recording mode once the vehicle is started again.

   

• Motion detection in parking mode

  Motion detection technology enables the dash cam to act like a CCTV while your car is parked. In parking mode, the dash cam starts recording when it detects motions or hit-and-runs while parked. So you can check if there’s any person approaching or lurking near your car. It records 10 seconds before and 20 seconds after motion detection. The recorded files are saved separately in the MOTION folder. You can set the level of motion detection sensitivity.

   

  ※It conserves power and saves memory space by only recording when motion or impact is detected.

  ※The device needs to be hardwired to the vehicle to activate this mode.
