Inconel 625 Dutch Weave Mesh is used in the high temperature applications up to 1800oF. It gives exceptionally high resistance to chloride ion stress corrosion cracking, pitting and crevice corrosion. It exhibits large fatigue strength and tensile strength. Inconel 625 Dutch Weave Mesh consists of closely tied weft wires with no apparent apertures. The warp wires are thicker than the weft wires. Dutch weave mesh is woven in both plain dutch weave and twilled dutch weave. The weaving method enables the mechanical strengthened meshes having small apertures to be made.

It is tough to determine the mesh size because of absence of square aperture. In such case retention word is used that describes that mesh consists of globules with diameter more than the retention value. The retention value of woven dutch weave mesh varies from 0.40mm to microns.
