Supports 4K Video Output
The HDTV Adapter (11 pin HDMI) supports Ultra-HD signals up to 4K resolution over Micro USB. Connect directly to your MHL-enabled mobile phone with an 11-pin Micro USB input to create an HDMI docking station. Then, connect a standard HDMI cable for easy connectivity to home theater or monitor. MHL 3.0 supports up to 4K UHD (2160p, 30fps) - requires both the MHL 3.0 HDTV Adapter and a Samsung MHL 3.0-enabled smartphone to achieve 4K UHD resolution. If an MHL 2.0 enabled tablet/phone is used with the MHL 3.0 adapter, resolution would be up to 1080p. Similarly, if an MHL 2.0 adapter is used with an MHL 3.0-enabled tablet/phone, resolution would also be up to 1080p.
In order to function with MHL 1.0 enabled phones, the adapter also needs to be connected to a power source via the Micro USB port on the adapter itself. With a smartphone supporting MHL 2.0 or later, the adapter does not need to be plugged in to a separate power source. (HDMI Cable and Micro USB Travel Charger sold separately)
