Maca is a cruciferous vegetable that grows in the Peruvian Andes mainly in the highest part of Junín (plateau bombom) between 13,000 and 15,000 feet (4100-4500 m), these extreme growing conditions favor its composition in rich nutrients and phytochemicals that makes maca a SUPERFOOD . Has traditionally been employed to improve fertility. According to scientific research , Oral administration of black Maca significantly improved reproductive behaviour of male rats and mice. More recently, it has been demonstrated that black Maca improves spermatogenesis in male rats.
