BENEFITS
1. Monopolar Application Techniques
(1) Monopolar
1) Cutting
The best merit of Dr.Oppel is that it doesn't give any carbonization or damage to the tissue
because it has Radio Frequency output with low current. There is no sparks in the operation either. At tissue temperatures of over 100℃, the cell liquid evaporates, and the tissue cells are burst through the vapor pressure and the tissue separates. Following pictures describe the conization.
(2) Bipolar Application Technique: For the bipolar application technique, the Radio Frequency
current is not conducted from an active electrode to a patient plate but flows between two tips of active electrode The bipolar technique is used primarily for tissue coagulation, especially for the vessel coagulation.
Heat is developed in the vessel by means of the electric resistance, and the desired coagulation of the vessel (e.g. hemostasis) can be performed.
2) Coagulation
Radio Frequency Coagulation means a way of coagulation necrosis to 2~5mm depth of tissue, when the Radio Frequency current flows from electrode, passing tissue, to the patient plate, by producing joule heat on the tissue itself close to electrode. In case of Dr. ppel, the coagulative depth is decided by the electrode itself depending on doctor's feeling, because this device is designed to coagulate selected depth exactly. Following pictures describe coagulation.

Under the philosophy of "Technologyoriented Communication," SOMETECH has developed advanced products based on convergence integrated technology with multiple application experiences in the medical and industrial business.
Since its foundation in 1989, our company has focused on localizing medical equipment through Constant Research and Development of high-quality medical image equipment and surgical devices.
SOMETECH started developing 3D image systems since 2006, right after predicting it will become a major key in the medical industry in the future. The 1ST generation of 3D Video Surgery Laparoscopy was released in 2012 becoming the first of its kind in Korea and in the world. Furthermore, in 2015 we released the world’s first 3D Head-Up-Display (HUD) eyepiece-free microscope.
As 3D surgery continues gaining momentum, SOMETECH, based on its vast experience in the imaging system, will continue focusing on R&D for 3D and 4K technology. By doing so, we expect to lead the 3D Microscopy and Laparoscopy market that is constantly revolutionizing surgery procedures that facilitate surgery skills allowing surgeons to perform more precise and effective.
