│ OVERVIEW │


As the Bridge Sliding Elastomeric Bearing used for civil materials bridge structure, it basically interrupt deflection/displacement of steel plate/rubber isolation, hardening/aging of elastomeric bearing owing to welding heat from installation work, room temperature of air, contact of air, solar heat, geothermal heat on the bridge upper plate. It minimizes deflection of bridge structure elastomeric bearing by adopting air cooled GT, high heat interrupting sheet, heat isolation EM sheet, etc. to upper/lower plates of bridge seat, and maintains/extends elastomeric force. This is completely different buffer device from metal disc bearing.
For the rotating displacement of self load of upper plate by temperature shrinkage/drying shrinkage and vehicle, the sliding method that may minimize frictional coefficient was adopted.
In case of applying gravity load to the elastomeric bearing having compressive function that may accommodate deflection/displacement such as horizontal/vertical load of upper/lower bridge structure, earthquake, vibration, moment, etc. there occurs expansion phenomenon toward both sides along with compression deflection. Reinforced bearing binds down deflection of rubber resulting in increase in the resistance force and supports gravity load resulting in reduction of expansion.

│ DESCRIPTION │


Bridge Sliding Elastomeric Bearing is low and high type bearings with less uplift force. As a special bridge bearing in combination of elastomeric bearing and sliding method, it especially minimizes frictional coefficient of the structure at the upper and lower part of rotating volume at the structure over the bridge by smoothening the movement of structure and load support in a narrow space. It also interrupts heat transferred from outside minimizing displacement such as aging, hardening, steel plate/rubber materials isolation, etc. and extending durability of elastomeric member. It accommodates the function of buffering/absorbing/diminishing the displacement such as temperature displacement of upper plate structure, drying shrinkage, creep, self load, noise, vibration caused by vehicle, earthquake caused by natural disaster.
 Upper/lower plate high heat interruption method, uplift force housing, movement restricting key that may binds fixed, forward direction, and Omni -direction, elastomeric body surface fluorine rubber special liquid coating method, etc. are applied, which is the bridge buffer device other than metal iron bearing, modified from the materials imported from Europe.
 It is not restricted in extension of durability of bridge structure, type of structure or design so that installation/maintenance can be conducted easily from which remarkable amount of budget could be reduced.

It may undergo falling phenomenon of elastomeric bearing owing to loss of elastomeric force caused by external heat aging of elastomeric bearing. This is the Bridge Sliding Elastomeric Bearing that adopts the method of basically interrupting the heat transferred from the outside, which is aimed at maintaining/extending elastomeric force in order to smoothly accommodate the displacement such as vertical/horizontal load, active load, impact, rotation, seismic resistance, seismic isolation of bridge structure by extending the durability of elastomer.

    ※ For the physical nature of Synthetic Rubber (Neoprene) that is chloroprene polymer, there occurs hardening, aging, isolation of steel plate from rubber, etc. through contact of external heat.
