1. POWERCON Series

General Information
POWERCON reduces the viscosity and improve the fluidity of concentrated slurries or solids dispersed in water.
POWERCON, for instance, gives better strength to the concrete with less use of water. These effects are derived from the electrical negative charge that is imparted from PWERCON producing electrostatic repulsive forces to keep the particles separated.
POWERCON is sodium salt of polymerized naphthalene sulfonic acid.

Applications

POWERCON is cost-effective dispersant, fluidifier and high-range water reducing agent, which exhibits excellent rheological properties especially in concrete and gypsum board.

A. Concrete application
POWERCON with its excellent rheological properties is used as the raw material for the admixture of concrete to produce high compressive strength (400~1,000 kg/cm2) concrete and improves the workability for concrete mixture.
Concrete admixture with POWERCON also reduces the dry shrinkage of concrete without excess bleeding and gives an excellent smooth concrete surface.

B. Gypsum board application
POWERCON, high range water reducing agent, increases boarding speed of up to 30% in drying of gypsum board manufacturing as well as saves energy costs by 30% by reducing water consumption

2. POWERFLOW Series

POWERFLOW is an advanced polycarboxylate type superplasticizer used in the production of various concrete mixtures including High-Performance Concrete and normal concrete.
POWERFLOW is the upgraded product which shows improved water reduction and better fluidity retention compared to the traditional polycarboxylate type products.
POWERFLOW is optimized in molecular structure for the optimum performance. It disperses cement particles by steric hindrance as well as electrostatic repulsion forces and shows excellent performance in water reduction and fluidity retention.
There are three POWERFLOW products(POWERFLOW-WD, POWERFLOW-SD).
POWERFLOW-WD is water reducing type and POWERFLOW-SD is a fluidity retention type product.
Formulation of three products will give the optimum concrete performance.

3. DYWELL
DISPERSANT FOR DYESTUFFS & PIGMENTS
DYWELL, sodium salt of polymerized naphthalene sulfonate, is a highly effective anionic dispersant for dyestuffs and pigment. DYWELL shows low foaming property, good heat stability, and high resistance to acid and alkali.
DYELL, used for dispersant of disperse dyes, and also dispersant and leveling agent of various dyes, performs excellent dyeing capability. DTWELL is good for improving wettability as well.

Characteristics

1. With an excellent dispersing property, a small dosage of DYWELL results in good leveling and migration property of dyes and pigments without any particles separation.
2. DYWELL is stable at a temperature above 100’C
3. DYWELL retains its dispersing property over a wide range of PH (PH 2~12)
4. DYWELL will not cause foaming, and can be used together with anionic or non-ionic surfactants.

Usage

1. Dispersant of disperse dyes: Wettability, milling, and migration properties of disperse powder dyes are improved and secondary flocculation is prevented when 10~50% of DYWELL by weight is added.
2. Dyeing (Textile) auxiliary: Excellent migration and leveling properties of dyestuffs are obtained by adding 0.1~2% of DYWELL by weight to dyestuffs.
3. Dispersant of pigments: Excellent wettability and permeability are obtained by adding 0.5~3% of DYWELL by weight to pigments when aqueous or emulsion paints are made.
