Ansen Splint has many advantages comparing with traditional plaster splint: lightweight, high strength, X-ray radiolucent and air-permeability.

Ansen Splint is intended for use in the construction of most common orthopedic splints. It is normally used in the early days of the fracture, when the fixed part has trauma or swelling.

Precautions

1. Check bag without any breakage. Exposure to moisture or water initiates a chemical reaction that causes the splint to harden. Do not use the splint that feels hard.
2. Open one bag at one time and use the splint immediately. Don't open multi-bags at the same time, so that to avoid weakening the strength.
3. Ansen Splint should be stored in a cool, dry and ventilated atmosphere. The proper temperature is 15-30℃ and the humidity should be less than RH60%.
4. All applications of these splints should be followed according to instructions of doctors or qualified medical professionals.

Production date is marked on bag. The shelf life is 3 years from the date of production.
