Polyurea resin

1. Outline

• Waterproof / rust-preventing coating for underground concrete structures, underground conduits, waterworks pipes, sewage pipes, manholes, marine structures, bridges, ship’s deck, various chemical tanks, wastewater treatment facilities, swimming pool, and nuclear power plants.
• Rust-preventing coating for reinforced beams, pipes, iron, and steel tanks.
• Floor coatings of parking lots, factories, warehouses, large discount stores.
• Urethane spray foam insulation protection coating, ice storage thank insulation/waterproof coating.
• Production of various sets and sculptures for broadcast and exhibitions.

2. Characteristic

• Unanalyzed (pure Polyuria) curing per second that does not drip on an incline or vertical planes. It can also be shortened.
• 100% solid, which makes it less hazardous to the environment and humans.
• During construction, it is barely affected by water and temperature, and it can be constructed during the winter.
• Chemical resistance, shock resistance, abrasion resistance, cold resistance, heat resistance, water resistance, along with excellent physical properties such as durability, weather resistance.
• Construction is simple and it can be fully customizable.
• By mixing items such as glass fibers or nonwoven fabric, we can strengthen the film.
• It also indicates high adhesion to a wide variety of materials.

Property of undiluted solution

A (main subject): Isocyanate Prepolymer, pale yellow transparent liquid.
B (hardener): Amine, Polyol, Pigment, additive mixture, colored viscous liqiud.
Caution: When using, avoid combining A solution and B solution in the pump, part, and hose.

3. Precautions

• If possible, store the undiluted solution in dark, cool, and dry place at 10–20°C.
• When stacked outside, avoid direct sunlight and prevent moisture from getting in.
• When keeping the excess solution, keep it completely sealed in dark, cool, and dry place.
• The undiluted solution should be protected from humidity, and it should be used preferably in two months after the date of manufacture in optimal storage condition.
• A perfect 1:1 ratio of components A and B is required.
• Before working with the product, foreign substances and moisture should be completely removed from the side being bonded.
• Under following conditions, work should be stopped:
  1. The temperature of the workplace is under 5°C.
  2. Humidity is higher than 85%.
  3. Snow, rain, or wind speeds faster than 15 mph (if there is no windbreak).
• The workplace should be safe from fire hazards. In the event that these substances are needed, a fire extinguisher should be ready, and thorough establishment of safety measures is required.
