In 1987, HBEP started providing various kinds of equipment for both R&D and line test for vehicles as one of the domestic agents of Burke E. Porter Machinery Co. in the USA. In July 1996, HBEP established a separate corporation and it is currently playing a role as a local agent of nineteen advanced foreign companies which handle automotive testing equipment.
HBEP also succeeded in localizing the major test equipment based on technical cooperation with advanced foreign companies so that it is currently manufacturing and providing powertrain-engine-vehicle test equipment, automotive environmental test chambers, and engine and powertrain assembly test equipment. It becomes a major provider of local vehicle test equipment through these cooperative relationships.

To localize the equipment, HBEP has been running its own electrical & mechanical assembly shop, as well as test room, in Shihwa industrial complex, Gyunggi-do.

As a total solution provider of the automotive test & inspection equipment, HBEP is providing the equipment in the applications mentioned below through either introductions from foreign companies or self-manufacturing.
