What is EL(electro luminescence)?

• When an electric field is applied to a fluorescent material, electrons accelerated by the electric field collide with electrons on the luminescent center, which activates an excited state. When the excited electrons fall down to the ground state, the material radiates light. EL is an element that makes use of this light radiating effect.
